Due to the high volume of online orders, we are no longer able to handle telephone orders. Householdhandles.com offers secure online transactions. Choose items from our online catalogue, add them to your order, then go to our checkout and pay by Visa or MasterCard.
Shopping at householdhandles.com is safe. We use industry-standard technology to encrypt all your personal information including debit or credit card details and your name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and encrypts them into bits of code that are then transmitted over the Internet.

Billing and Prices
Unlike many other Internet retailers, we only take payment on the day we despatch your order. You will normally receive your goods within approximately seven working days from when we receive your order (within the UK).
All prices on this website are quoted in UK Pounds. All prices exclude VAT, postage and packaging; International orders do not include postage and packaging.
Before purchasing you can review your order and make changes to it if you wish. When you are happy, click the SECURE CHECK OUT button. You will then be asked to provide your credit or debit card details and a delivery address. When you submit these details, the postage and packing charge (as detailed below) will be calculated and added to the total. You will be presented with the final order details and total price. After reviewing this information, click the PLACE ORDER button to make your order final. All orders are accepted subject to the authorisation of your credit or debit card.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. The transaction will appear as a payment to JMT TRADE LTD on your card statement. WE WILL ONLY DELIVER TO THE CARD HOLDER’S ADDRESS. ALL CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS ARE CODE 10 CHECKED.
You will receive an electronic receipt, with an order reference number. In case of any query or to track your order, you will need to quote your invoice number to one of our customer service representatives.

Orders placed for delivery addressed outside the UK will be despatched upon receipt of cleared funds from the card issuer. We will always notify you if the delivery time is likely to be longer than that indicated above.

Out of stock
When you order online you will receive Email confirmation of your order. In the unlikely event of any item being out of stock, you will be notified by one of our customer service representatives, and given the option either to continue with the rest of your order, substitute the unavailable items with similar alternatives, or to cancel. We will be happy to discuss your options when we contact you. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, JMT Trade Limited T/A Household Handles will refund the full purchase price including p & p. If, on the other hand, you have decided that you don’t want the product, postage and packing costs are your responsibility – we will refund the price of the product, minus a 25% re-stocking fee. We do not accept returns from reduced lines or lines to clear.
Any product you return must be returned complete, in clean condition and in its original packaging. We recommend you get the free proof of posting certificate from the Post Office. Allow up to 30 days from us receiving your returned item for it to be processed. Refunds will be made to your credit card.
Before we are able to process a returned item or items you must contact our customer service department for a returns form, this will normally be sent to the address given or emailed within 7 days.

Cancellations and alterations
If you wish to cancel or change your order, please call us on 01228 791909 (during office hours), or email us firstname.lastname@example.org. We advise you to email us immediately, or call us between 09:00 and 10:00, to stand the best chance of catching us before your order is processed. If you email us, please include a daytime telephone number if possible.
If you contact us before your order has been processed, we will be happy to alter or cancel it with no problems. If we have already sent your order, there will be a 25% restocking charge, and you will need to return it to us as soon as you receive it (please refer to the Returns section above). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
